Hemostats are useful by more than just doctors!  Quilters love them as a precise extra "hand" to get into tight places.  They look like scissors, but are not for cutting, they are for holding small objects.    

Use them to stuff batting into corners of pin cushions or under applique pieces, or to pull tabs through 3-D embroidery designs.
